Your AV future – our guidance
Our mission is to increase awareness of AV careers by connecting employers, educators and learners through clear pathways, inspiring engagement and supporting long-term sector growth, making your visions become a reality.
Overview of services
Our services are designed to connect employers, educators and learners through structured programmes, clear pathways and nationwide engagement. We provide practical tools, industry encounters and digital resources that help schools understand AV careers, support employers wanting to attract talent and give young people, veterans and adults accessible routes into technical, creative and operational/support roles across the AV sector.
Schools & College Programmes
Employer-led workshops, assemblies and careers sessions aligned with Gatsby Benchmarks and the Careers and Enterprise Company's (CEC) expectations. Clear guidance, lesson materials and classroom content introducing AV roles, pathways and sector opportunities.
Links with colleges, training providers and Level 3–5 AV apprenticeships to support ongoing progression. Representation at national and regional careers fairs and events, connecting learners directly with industry opportunities.
We accompany learners on their path to success and support them at every stage to ensure they achieve their goals.

Veterans & Adult Transition Pathways
Structured routes connecting transferable skills with AV technician, installer, engineering and support roles. This can lead to apprenticeship schemes or direct employment.
Further progression can be sought through the Audiovisual and Integrated Experience Association (AVIXA), global trade association for the professional AV industry. AVIXA run training and certification courses to gain Certified Technology Specialist (CTS).
Like many industries there are many support roles that aren't technical, and these roles are given the same importance in the diverse make up of the AV industry.
Agentic AI Careers App
NavigateAV doesn’t sell careers information — it sells career momentum, using agentic AI to move people from interest to employment faster and cheaper than the current system. It is not one product but three engines, monetising careers through three cohorts with different payers - public, employer and individual, de-risking growth while scaling nationally:
The school leavers model - reduce anxiety, build confidence, satisfy schools & parents, feed apprenticeships.
The veterans model - respect experience, translate skills quickly, remove friction.
The career switchers model - speed, ROI clarity, self-serve efficiency.

The Future of AV
Setting a course to provide the UK’s first coordinated, industry-led system for AV careers. While individual companies run isolated outreach or training activities, no organisation offers a unified national framework that connects employers, educators and learners at scale.
Our vision is a nationally recognised AV industry where every learner can access clear career routes and every employer benefits from a strong, sustainable talent pipeline.
