Rachel Hunt

Empowering Lives Together

Rachel started her career as an RAF apprentice, later becoming an engineering officer.  A career change into graphic and product design led to her becoming a marketing director, falling into the AV industry.  She is an AV Awards Judge, member of the AV Cultural Forum, AVIXA UK Women’s Council and Diversity Council.

Owen Ellis

Uniting AV Groups to Understand Better

Owen has over 40 years of AV experience and is Chairman of the AV User Group, a thriving community of AV end users. In 2019, he launched the AV Consultancy Group. Owen is passionate about attracting new talent to the AV industry, especially from the younger generation, and has resolved to take action to rectify this.

Denise Hughes

Working Together for a Common Goal

Denise founded WoopJobs! in 2008 to bridge the gap in specialist AV recruitment. driven by a "people-first" philosophy, focusing on cultural alignment. Author of "Your Dream Job in Audiovisual" and host of the podcast "Don’t Just Fall Into It," Denise empowers professionals to navigate their careers with intention. 

Iffat Choudhry

Connecting with Our Community

Iffat joined the AV industry in 2006. Trained in sales management, team building and training. Her videocast 'Whatiff?' creates space for important conversations that are often overlooked, to recognise the contribution and raise the profile of individuals, some from marginalised, less represented communities.
